Project Scope

AtlasTrucks tasked me with designing a trendy, user-friendly web platform to emphasize the luxury aspect of their trucks while maintaining practicality and approachability.

I analyzed their existing brand image and messaging to create a high-fidelity prototype. I made multiple iterations, we tested them, and documented results and next steps. Iterations were based on internal feedback from the design team and user testing. This project focused on balancing luxury and practicality, creating a modern user experience, and ensuring a cohesive brand identity.

Key Design Challenges

  1. Balancing Luxury and Practicality- Highlighting the luxury aspect of Atlas Trucks' moving services while showcasing the practical benefits.

  2. Modern User Experience- Creating an intuitive and easy-to-navigate website for users of all technical backgrounds.

  3. Cohesive Brand Identity- Ensuring the website design aligns seamlessly with Atlas Trucks' existing brand image and messaging.

Stakeholder Interviews

I conducted stakeholder interviews with the majority of the Atlas Trucks team. I spoke with individuals from marketing, finance, design, and engineering/development. These were the insights that we gleaned from those interviews.

User Flows

I created two user flows for the prototype:

  1. Browse services

  2. Rent a truck

Wireframes

Building upon the established user flows, I created a series of wireframes to visualize the AtlasTrucks website's layout and functionalities. These wireframes serve as a blueprint, outlining the structure and content of each key page before diving into detailed design

Style Guide

To deliver a seamless user experience and maintain a consistent brand image across the AtlasTrucks website, we established a comprehensive design system. This system functions as a style guide, outlining the core design principles, reusable components, and best practices for website development.
