My Journey to UI/UX
I bridge the gap between complex engineering systems and intuitive human experiences. With a background in Mechatronics Engineering and over 6 years as a Product Designer, I have built products across startups, design agencies, and NGOs, translating technical constraints into user-driven and commercially viable solutions.
I see design as a collaborative discipline grounded in clarity and measurable impact. The strongest products emerge where user insight, business strategy, and technical feasibility meet. Drawing from experience in both development and design, I lead cross-functional processes that deliver meaningful outcomes for users and organisations.

Outside of design, you will usually find me on hiking trails chasing mountaintops and waterfalls, or training for my next marathon.
I am deeply committed to community building within tech. As a Women Techmakers Ambassador, I organize and speak at events, mentor women in technology and advocate for greater inclusion in the industry. I also serve as an organizer for Droidcon Kenya, contributing to the growth of one of the region’s leading Android developer communities.
